I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former two-time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
